Greek fruit export report

NEWS

According to PASEGES (the Pan-Hellenic Confederation of Unions of Agricultural Co-operatives) the exports of Greek kiwis, oranges and mandarins were on the rise during the holiday season, bringing to light the demand for healthier choices on the Christmas table. The export rise could have been even higher if it was not for the transportation delays, due to the immigration control process. The delay of the ordered goods continues to this day endangering the market supply process, creating a demand that is not met by the needed supply numbers.
