For the past decade Greece has steadily increased its’ production of fresh fruit, with a consequent rise in exporting quantities. Protofanousi Fruits S.A. better known in worldwide markets as PROTO has been the leading force in Greek fresh fruit exports, with a rise in Kiwi quantities from approx. 7.000 tons in 2007, to more than 13.000 for the 2016 season. Cherries increased from less than 1.000 tons in 2010 to 4.000 in 2017.

With new investments in facilities and equipment being made almost every year while new growing, handling and packing techniques being implemented, PROTO has achieved to represent the best of the Greek fruit available to worldwide markets. After Fruit Logistica Berlin and Asia Fuit Logistica, Fruit Attraction 2017 will be PROTO’s next event.

PROTO’s presence at Fruit Attraction 2017 will be a great opportunity for visitors and guests to meet with our team and discuss not only the kiwi season which will just be starting, but also the whole range of fresh, high quality fruit that PROTO can offer. The people of PROTO are eager to meet partners and customers from all over Europe, Asia and America at our modern stand located at Pavilon 10 – Stand C 09. See you there!
