Our excellent collaboration with some of the best local producers is officially confirmed via our recent certification as a trader of kiwi fruit from the region of Pieria (Northern Greece), a region well-known for the top quality of its kiwis. This means that PROTO kiwis are now certified with PGI (Protected Geographical Indication).
PGI indication allows the customer to be able to identify the product’s quality, characteristics and place of origin. The PGI certification is evaluated and approved by AGROCERT (Agricultural Products Certification and Supervision Organization).
We would like to extend our thanks to our producers and commit to further honor the certification by further expanding our kiwi exports into new countries, giving more consumers the chance to taste the truly delicious Pieria kiwis!
