Worldwide fruit and vegetable production and trade increased

The findings were presented at the International Fair Fruit Logistica 2015, in Berlin and were based on the survey conducted by AMI (German Agricultural Market Information Company). The data showcased a total of 820 tons of fruit and 970 tons of vegetables production worldwide. In Europe, the production amounted to 38 million tons of fruit and 63 million tons of vegetables.
