Even though cherry season starts in late May and continues until the end of July, presenting a peak from mid-June to mid-July, this year we are expecting a delay of 8-10 days. The first deliveries to Europe are estimated to arrive in the mid of week 23. The main varieties, according to harvesting dates are the following: Satin, Samba, Larian, Crystalina, Georgia, Early Star, Grey Star, Black Star, Big Star, Lapins, Bakirtzeika (Greek variety), Ferovia, Germensdorfer, Skenna, Regina, Kordia, Sweet Heart.
This year, weather permitting, we expect to harvest approximately 3,000 tons of cherries. Find them at selected supermarkets all around Europe.
