New investment for PROTO

Investing on projects that ameliorate the production and distribution processes –making them easier and faster, while maintaining the high quality of the produced fruits, lies in the heart of PROTO’s philosophy. PROTO’s latest investment is about the expansion/upgrade of the company’s storage at Kerasia region. The project includes:
- The expansion of the covered area –according to the new, increased production needs.
- The installation of a new hydrocooler, able to precool 10 tons of cherries/hour –which will diminish the production and delivery times while maintaining the famous PROTO high quality.
- Special constructions concerning the surrounding area.
The total investment cost is over €550,000, and it is expected to increase –even more- the rhythm and the production numbers, confirming PROTO’s leading place in the fruit field.
