Proto invests in new technology

Investing in advanced machinery and new technologies that improve quality, increase the production capacity and decrease delivery times, is a constant process for PROTO. Our philosophy always lies in advancing our corporate dynamics at all levels.

 A new fruit grader for kiwis, plums, peaches and clementines has already been installed back in September. The brand-new technology will increase production at 120tons/8hours for kiwis and will ameliorate the quality of the product.

 Specifically, the new grader/sorting machine enables:

• precise sorting of fruits (according to parameters as weight and size)
• quality control options; customization and camera systems installed sort out defected and damaged fruit
